It’s been awhile! I took a break from drawing and painting to concentrate on other projects for a bit, and also buying a house. In a couple of weeks I’ll be excited to move my studio home and stay up late hours there.I’m doing a short run of six paintings on wood and acetate. This go, I’m trying to draw everything out before I dive into painting so that all the paintings agree with each other and none of them try to be something else. I’m still learning what these women are. They’re something wild and natural, untameable. But here’s the first drawing. I hope to have these all done in a month!
