This drawing is a break from the tattooed ladies - though not by much. Edit!: You can find the painting that this made at Rocket Assembly. If you have $20, you can give that $20 to me and I would give this painting to you.  May-November I run an indie art fair called Market Day. It’s a lot of fun, but I haven’t made anything to sell there yet this season! A casual market isn’t typically the best place for a several hundred dollar painting of macabre nature. So next week I’m going to work on a new set of small paintings based on classic tattoos that I can show off at Market Day. I love tattoos, and I’d love to be a tattoo artist - but carpal tunnel surgery back in 2006 means that I’m not the best candidate for a job requiring me to use a tool that vibrates. At least, as you can see, I’m still getting to spend plenty of time drawing tattoos. Coming up I’ve also got some gypsy skulls, nautical tatts and more straight-up skull interpretations. Anything else I should hit? Birds? Spiders? Words?
