Last night we went to a lecture by former labor secretary Robert Reich, and I drew Drake University’s Sheslow Auditorium watching him.
His talk was good. Our people are newshounds, so we’d mostly heard his message before — and Ken actually spent the day watching Reich videos on YouTube, nerd that he is — but I still enjoyed how Reich took a bunch of data and wove it together to paint a picture. It helped me have a much greater understanding of how this Very Smart Man thinks our economic systems works.
